I am a qualified coach practitioner (EMCC/EQA), and a warm and skilled communicator with 25 years of experience in developing health-focused programmes.

I have worked in partnership with a diverse range of groups and individuals within the private, corporate and voluntary sectors, including: NHS, Public Health, Simply Health AXA, Bristol University, City councils, care homes and trusts across the southwest, plus early years, primary and secondary educational settings. I am currently developing new wellbeing programmes for NHS staff and patients.

Interested in food from an early age, I gained a degree in hotel management before running an event and catering business in London, which led me to open a café in Bristol. At around that time I decided to use the experience I had gained to create a more purposeful personal and working future. This led me to set up All About Food, a consultancy which provided food education, nutrition and training for trainers (with a strong emphasis on health and wellbeing).

In 2012 I joined The Mindful Life charity and over time became a practitioner, which is where I discovered my natural ability to deliver programmes. I have since become a trustee of this charity with ongoing involvement in steering its direction.

In 2016, having experienced coaching first hand and appreciating the benefits of the process, I decided to train to be a coach, which I did with TPC Leadership. This, combined with my mindfulness experience and long history in food, are what enable me to offer my three services: one-to-one personal coaching, wellbeing at work and well-being in education.

The thread that runs through all my work is that simple changes to habits and awareness can bring about profound changes in physical and emotional wellbeing. Nothing gives me greater satisfaction than passing that knowledge on to others so that they too may experience the benefits of taking control of their own lives.

And it's not all about work - in my free time I love to swim, walk and cook. I have recorded podcasts. I am a passionate sourdough baker, love mucking about in the garden, growing veg and writing recipes, and am a part-time DJ. But above all, as a people person I am social, and enjoy connecting, building and maintaining relationships and being a part of my local community.
